Me: Can we go for dinner? I'm a little down, need a boost.
Me: A burger will do the trick.
Him: You want to go tonight?
Me: I'm coming to Bond Street
He knows how to treat his woman, am I right?
I surfaced from the tube at Oxford Circus, briskly walked over to Bond Street with a really quick pit stop at Uniqlo where I might have bought 2 sweaters, or I might not have. You will never know. There I met my partner in crime/food/life on the street and walked in the general direction of Marylebone, with a slight detour by Meat Liquor. We have been before and I was envisioning a very large serving of fried pickles, but it was not to be as the queue was making fun of us. I don't queue when I'm hungry. So we kept on walking and made our way to Patty & Bun, we have been there as well before and the only thing I remember is how uncomfortably full I got. Undoubtedly my mistake, and their fault for making so many yummy sides. Again, serious queue in sight, so we went to Tommi's which is a little burger place I swear I have never seen while walking down Marylebone High Street and into Thayer Street. I used to work on this street and I had absolutely no clue where this restaurant was. But Google maps did and I'm glad we found it as I had my heart set on a burger and I would be very sad if the only burger I could get was of the big-chain-fastfood variety.
