Watching - I have mostly been watching informative videos for the HR course I am taking (It's this one here with Coursera). I love how much I am learning and also how accessible new skills are with the internet basically everywhere. Yes, I know this isn't news at all, seeing as the internet has been pretty prominent in our lives since the 90's, but please allow me this excitement. Thanks.
Exercise - oh the pain I am feeling from 10 minutes of HIIT workouts in the morning, it's real. You wouldn't think 10 minutes could do much damage but I have faith in this, and my abs are feeling pretty active lately. Surely a good sign?
Eating - If you are a woman (and if you are not, ehhhh, hello? Didn't expect you here, but you are welcome to stay a while) you probably know that dangerous time of the month when you want to eat all the food. Yes? Well, that's this week for me. I found some Milky Way Crispy Rolls in the shops the other day and I just couldn't leave them on the shelf. They bring me waaaaay back to 1997-ish and they are still delicious.
Reading - I'm still enjoying the Kindle selection I downloaded a while back and I am working my way through some great books and some really bad books. What I like to call Kindle Roulette; you never know if it's going to be a quality piece of writing until you start that first chapter. And once you have committed to the book, well, you gotta finish that thing. True story, there is only 1 book I just had to give up, it was sooooo bad. All the other mediocre writing I read to the very end, no matter how painful.
Doing - A lot of laundry (because laundry is the best) and arranging for a gardener for our communal garden. Yes, that's me, the gardening queen. I dead head roses on a weekly basis and I am contemplating buying a rake to keep the garden looking beautiful. We went from a jungle to a manicured lawn in one afternoon and I am so mesmerised I can't stop looking out the window in awe.
Buying - I keep on thinking that my life would be so much better if I owned several types of off the shoulder tops, so I keep on buying these. I am yet to wear one out of the house, but maybe this weekend will change that? Don't keep your hopes up. Most of them have tags still attached, maybe it's time to take them back to the shops and stick to my true and tested standard blouses and t-shirts?
That's it for now, we have a busy weekend ahead so I need to get on with things (still don't know what to wear for both the birthday tomorrow and the trip to Henley on Sunday) and maybe have a nice bath later? Enjoy the weekend, let's cross our fingers for sunny weather!
