Now that I have had some time to reflect on the run yesterday it's time to tell you all about it. As I have mentioned, this was my first 10K run and I was both nervous and excited, but mostly nervous. The thing is, you want to finish and to do fairly well, but it's quite far when you don't like running much. The good news is that I finished in a good enough time, the bad news is that I can hardly walk today.
I did enjoy the running and the crowd and completing some sort of a challenge but we were very unfortunate with the rain that just started pouring and wouldn't stop until we were done running. Good fortune... The run itself was ok, but by the 1st km I was wondering how I could do 9 more. I did though, and it felt pretty great to cross that finishing line! Don't be surprised if I sign up for next years run, I think I can start liking this.
I'm Christine and I currently live in London with my husband where I do my best to go to as many restaurants as possible, bake, DIY and occasionally let my hair down and go to a museum. x
