There are so many amazing restaurants in London, almost too many, but most people have one or two they go back to no matter what happens. I have a couple, but one of my all time favourites is the Chinese restaurant Angeles by Kilburn Tube station. They don't have a website, so you just have to trust me here. If you want to go you take the tube to Kilburn (Jubilee line) and take a right down Kilburn High Road when you leave the station, the restaurant is right there.
I love this restaurant so much because of the food and the attentive service and in part for the very sparse decorations. The focus is definitely on the food and not the ambiance. But that is ok, as the food is so good. Usually we sit down, order almost the same every time, and when the food arrives we eat and eat until we can't eat anymore. I always leave feeling stuffed and in need of a small nap, but I swear it's the best Chinese food I have had in London. This place is very popular so it doesn't need any advertising (probably why they don't bother with a website) but if you think you want to give North West London a chance and get to know Kilburn better then you could go to Angeles for lunch or dinner. Or both.
I'm Christine and I currently live in London with my husband where I do my best to go to as many restaurants as possible, bake, DIY and occasionally let my hair down and go to a museum. x
