Yesterday was one of those days when things didn't go the right way. At work I spent an hour outside going from house to house and catching a cold thanks to the serious wind that was playing around the North London area yesterday, many thanks. The cold brought with it a pretty serious headache and that was all before noon! More than 6 hours left of my workday and I was done for. But I did actually make it and managed to leave work still standing, although with a worse headache and a very tired body. So I was walking home as I always do and on this walk home there are tons of places that beg to be visited (Poundland is one of my current favourites...). Some places I never go in, like the 10 different fast food chains with the word "chicken" in their name, and normally McDonalds is on this list of "don't go in"-places. I can't actually remember last time I had McDonalds so I think we are talking years rather than months. Correction, yesterday I couldn't remember the last time I had McD, today I can. Yes, I just couldn't cope with the thought of dinner and went in to get a chicken wrap and some fries which were literally inhaled on my way home, I can't remember if I chewed or if they tasted good. I remember looking at the menu thinking "why would they put two prices up there?" and then realizing one of the numbers, the highest one might I add, was the calorie content. I almost left. Almost.
