I got up early this morning to catch a flight to Bergen where I am visiting family. Not exactly in Bergen, rather a long drive out of the city. I arrived unprepared and hungry, an by the time we made it back to the family I could have chewed off my arm. So I had some Norwegian brown cheese instead. I am here for a confirmation, one of the cousins, and to see the family again. I am sad to say it has been almost 2 years since I last saw them. Bad Christine. But I'm here now, and so is my national costume, the bunad. Get ready for some seriously Norwegian looking pictures tomorrow!
The little town where the family lives, it's very small and very friendly.
On the way from the airport we drove by snow! Snow! It's April. And this area is also known for its rainy ways. So what greeted me in Bergen when I left the plane? Rain, of course.
I'm Christine and I currently live in London with my husband where I do my best to go to as many restaurants as possible, bake, DIY and occasionally let my hair down and go to a museum. x
