Let’s talk cheese. There is a place in Marylebone called La Fromagerie (the website has cows on it, make sure to turn on the sound if you go there) where they have a very specific cheese room that they escort you in to, and out when you have had enough. But do you ever? Anyways, the place is a cheese store, a restaurant and a bit of a grocery store where they sell the largest tomatoes I have ever seen. I am embarrassed to say that after working in Marylebone for several months and claiming that it is my favourite area, I still hadn’t made it to La Fromagerie until this month. It’s a shame really, when they have been trading good cheese for so long. It’s a pretty simple menu, but the food is good it makes up for it. It is also the first place I have found Burrata for sale, but watch out it’s crazy expensive. Several couples were sharing a cheese platter or two and having some glasses of wine, what I plan to do next time. I think this would be a good place to go for a light meal before a movie in the Everyman cinema in Baker Street, a 5 minute walk away.
