So, here we are, at home, watching the Food Network. The first thing I did after getting home from work today? Make a cup of tea of course. I actually walked in the door, felt a bit tired and low on energy, and my first thought was that a cup of tea would hit the spot. The second thought in my head was "what's going on here?". Tea? Really? You can't really get more British than tea. It is the solution to all life's problems, literally. Bad day? Cup of tea. Broken heart? Cup of tea. Couldn't get the mortgage? Cup of tea. Warm, comforting, and tasty, everything the British aren't. Only joking. Or am I? But the point is, whatever the problem, tea is the solution. And the other point is: I might have just crossed the line, become semi-British, and there is no turning back.
