Many many years ago my parents lived in London when they found out they were having their first child. That would be me. And although they stayed less than a year after I was born, they created their habits and found their local places. They lived in Knightsbridge (a bit more central than where I am currently living...) and naturally went to many of the restaurants around there. Some I have been to, like Sale e Pepe when I was 10 years old, and other I have just heard a lot about, like Daphne's. I always figured Daphne's was one of my dads favourite restaurants and therefore I wanted to go with him. So when he came to visit a couple of weeks ago we went for Sunday dinner.
Daphne's is an Italian place so of course I jumped right on the creamy Burrata with tomatoes and pesto, and seafood pasta with zucchini. I was very happy with both but of course managed a little bit of a dessert. My favourite is tiramisu and I have a very hard time resisting it when it is on the menu. Who do you think had the watermelon Martini? Well guessed, it wasn't me!
I'm Christine and I currently live in London with my husband where I do my best to go to as many restaurants as possible, bake, DIY and occasionally let my hair down and go to a museum. x
