Undoubtedly a boring task, but it should be done quite frequently, some even suggest once a week. And how long since I cleaned mine last? Ehhhh, maybe 5 months. Well, it happens. But better late than never, I always say, and today I cleaned mine after putting it off for around 4 weeks. But now that it's done I wonder why I didn't just do it before, it is so fast and so easy.
I read online that you should use baby shampoo, which is what I did. I put the brushes to soak in soapy water for a couple of minutes before changing the water. Repeat. Repeat. Rinse, rinse some more and then leave to dry. Perfect. Doing this after putting on make-up is a good idea.
I'm Christine and I currently live in London with my husband where I do my best to go to as many restaurants as possible, bake, DIY and occasionally let my hair down and go to a museum. x
