Louis Vuitton likes to support the arts, and I like that. Art is good. Not only are they doing this accessories collaboration with Yayoi Kusama, they have taken her art to NYC and London (lucky us!). Rather, there was an exhibition in London until the 5th of June. So even though you can't see this stuff at the Tate Modern, you can watch the video above and see the accessories. Kusama is famous for her spots that she puts on basically everything.
Photographer Vincent Bousserez has created a second world in the LV store in Champs Elysees where the idea is that after dark these people come out to play (a bit like "Night at the Museum", just with LV bags), unfortunately I think this was only created for photos and customers can't actually see this in real life in the store. But the photos are funny, my favourite is the window cleaner with the sunglasses.
If my obsession with Chanel started when I was 16, my crush on Marc Jacobs started right after. After watching Loic Prigents documentary on Marc for LV on Youtube I think you basically have to like him for his creative ways and what he brings to LV and to his own brands. So, this brings us to this particular video which is basically one fashion show I would have loved to go to, because it is way over the top. No more boring white catwalks, this is Downton Abbey, in Paris. And if you remember the carousel from LV Spring Summer 12 you know I am looking forward to September when Marc will make it all happen again.
I'm Christine and I currently live in London with my husband where I do my best to go to as many restaurants as possible, bake, DIY and occasionally let my hair down and go to a museum. x
