I have a visitor this weekend, Anette flew in from Oslo to enjoy some of the rainy days we are having but mostly to eat, like we always do. Yesterday we went to Eat.St. in Kings Cross, and walked to Soho for a coffee and some ice cream. I am not overly familiar with Soho, but it has a very friendly and casual vibe I am liking, and the people watching is second to none. Perfect if your companion is boring you or you have nothing more to talk about, or in our case, you are exhausted by food and a long walk.
There are many places claiming to be the best icecream, but Gelupo consistently pops up and it was time to try. They have flavours of the day that change daily and all the icecream is handmade. It's also delicious! I tried the peach sorbet and want to go back for more...
We were really lucky with the weather until afternoon came by and we were caught in the rain. And we all know the only reasonable thing to do when that happens is to get some cinnabons and go home. No regrets.
I'm Christine and I currently live in London with my husband where I do my best to go to as many restaurants as possible, bake, DIY and occasionally let my hair down and go to a museum. x
