If there is ONE thing I would like to thank the internet for, it's alternative uses of baby powder. I am trying to think when and where I first discovered that baby powder can be used by adults for things that are very much not baby related. The most important? As a dry shampoo. I have had the most itchy scalp over the last million years, probably due to my need to wash my hair absolutely every day. That is probably not something my scalp and hair loves me for. But finally I was getting fed up with itching excessively and took the advice of the local pharmacist: Wash your hair only once a week, and only with baby shampoo (honestly, these baby products are amazing). Going from washing your hair every day to once a week is not pleasant, so I settled for every second day and explored life with unwashed hair. The dark side is pretty ok so far. But only due to excessive use of baby powder to keep my hair looking like it has been washed that day. And the absolutely best part is that the itching is gone. So thank you local pharmacist!
