I have been looking for a way of making my apartment a bit more personal and with inspiration from Turkey I bought regular curtain tassels to use as decoration on doors and cupboards. It's super easy to do and a fast way of adding some colour to your home.
I got these amazing bracelets from Su Misura in Oslo and I plan to wear them all together! I don't usually wear too many bracelets because i start to fiddle with them and they dont feel comfortable, but these are not heavy and light on the arm, my new friends for fall.
For those of you that watched the 2011 season of "The Apprentice" in the UK you might remember "the emergency biscuit" that was talked about in one of the episodes. If not, don't worry. The point here isn't to talk about "The Apprentice" but rather to embrace a food solution to all your social emergencies. I have discovered the real emergency biscuit. Now, it does depend on the emergency, but assuming that it's not life threatening (a biscuit wouldbe of little help then...), there are many situations where a quick recipe would save you. Let's say a surprise visit from the in-laws or a sudden craving for something sweet when the fridge and freezer is empty. So what is this solution? Shortbread! Super easy and fast to make and the 3 ingredients should be found in almost any household, so next time your dorbell rings and you know you have nothing to offer, make these shortbreads!
I'm Christine and I currently live in London with my husband where I do my best to go to as many restaurants as possible, bake, DIY and occasionally let my hair down and go to a museum. x
