Yesterday I came home to find an email with the title "Only 91 days to Christmas", which is both alarming and charming. Thanks for the reminder, but I am sure I would have catched on eventually. This happens every year, and every year I get annoyed and feel the need to voice my opinion to friends and colleagues. Which is probably the reason why we had a long chat about Selfridge's Christmas shop at work today. What can I say, I can't help myself. Despite my reaction to this email, I was actually thinking about Christmas presents last week, and keep on telling the boyfriend my gift ideas for our families. He mostly rolls his eyes and doesn't respond, but I can live with that. So what am I spending these next 90 days doing? Ignoring Christmas until December 1st, then I'm going crazy, but at least I'm waiting until then. Who really needs 90 days to prepare for Christmas anyway, Santa?
