If you have read a couple of my posts here on this blog you probably think I eat all the time and don't do much else. Sometimes it also feels like that is my life. But I do occasionally do other things like work, hang out with friends, DIY, go shopping, read books and go to the gym. Yep, the gym. I actually love the gym. I don't love getting up and mentally preparing to go to the gym. I don't love thinking about the fact that I should really go. I don't love walking there (it's only 5 minutes, don't feel bad for me). I don't love getting in and getting on that first machine or walking into a gym class. But it's that feeling after that makes it all worth it. You feel like you can do anything after a serious gym session. So yesterday I did something I have done 3 times now. I ran the British 10K in London. I know this isn't big to most people, it's only 10K right? But for me, it's a big deal and I am so happy I have done it 3 times now. The feeling after running 10K beats a normal gym visit any day!
I'm Christine and I currently live in London with my husband where I do my best to go to as many restaurants as possible, bake, DIY and occasionally let my hair down and go to a museum. x
